About Security 4 Peace

Security 4 Peace is a non-for profit Think and Do Tank dedicated to advancing human security, reducing violence and building peace through the participatory production of  security data and knowledge and the development of initiatives that protect people’s lives, livelihoods and dignity and foster more inclusive and equal societies. 

We partner with civil society organisations, communities, public institutions and the private sector in various countries to develop security solutions based on evidence and a commitment to the protection of human rights.

 We recognise that people face increasingly complex and interconnected challenges that threaten their lives and wellbeing. Our mission is to provide innovative solutions to better understand and address those challenges and improve initiatives, policies and programs so that they are better equipped to protect communities in ways that enable everyone to fulfill their potential.
